Dreamweaver Running Out of Whack

If you've ever worked with Dreamweaver, then you really have a soft spot for the preview button As it works nicely when playing with CSS and PHP

Who took my 1680 x 1050 resolution?!

Today, my Vista desktop running in my powerful HP laptop (and I don't mean it in a sarcastic way) came up running a display of 800x600...geesh while it brought back some good ol memories, I couldn't help but to wonder who took my 1680x1050 resolution! I want it back and I want it now!

Ready to Upgrade to XP

Although it's been said that Vista has a patch for their "copying files thru the network" problem. I still have my doubts. The image below comes from a colleague of mine. By the way this occured on a high speed network. Sad really.

The Joy of Windows Vista

Last night the system downloaded and installed the recommended Vista security updates. No issues there. This morning I logged to my desktop and it looks different. Suddenly I get a notification that "Vista could not load the user profile correctly and is using a temporary file, contact the administrator." I rebooted the machine - no luck.

I started the system in Vista Safe Mode with Networking (F8 Key) and was able to load my correct user profile in safe mode. Restart - login as usual and the problem is fixed.

Anyway....just another Vista tip!
